Page Header

The header includes the page number, the author’s last name and the chapter title. This makes it much easier for the reader to locate chapters and just generally gives a more professional ‘publication-type’ feel. (In order to have separate headers for each chapter you need to create a ‘section break’ after the previous chapter by going to the Insert tab in MS word and then clicking next page in section breaks (not in page breaks-otherwise it won’t work’. Once you do this, when you insert the header, de-select ‘link to previous section’- only then will that particular section/chapter have a distinct header. The page numbers will be continuous from the previous section unless you specify otherwise’).header with markings
